Laëtitia Simeoni and Jean-Baptiste Geronimi are both the fourth generation of farming families. So working the fields is nothing new to them! However, the land can sometimes be a bit inhospitable in the Marsulinu region.

“You need to take into account the lack of water, which is even more of a concern in recent years, and anticipate more extreme weather conditions due to climate change,” says Jean-Baptiste So it is with an iron will that Laëtitia and Jean-Baptiste strive to develop their land, which is truly dear to them. For Jean-Baptiste, this means taking care of 300 sheep and producing tome, casgiu vechju, and brocciu.

For Laëtitia: 43 cows, all selected from the finest cattle breeds. “It was crucial to me to have a productive herd with animals that would be recognised for the quality of their meat,” insists the farmer with an ever present smile! She’ll soon be launching a range of fromage blanc, yoghurt, and butter, all made from sheep's milk.

Growing the native e murze helichrysums was initiated by Jean-Baptiste in 2013, and his partner joined him in 2018. The first joint distillation took place in 2020, due to a desire to produce and process new aromatic essences.

               Laëtitia and Jean-Baptiste are without doubt true proponents of living agriculture!
