One single encounter, one shared dream can create a common vocation. Perfect examples of this are Pierre and Sara Pellegri!
He worked in transport and logistics, she was in the restaurant business. She was a shepherd's daughter, he a boy from Moita, where his grandmother sold cheese in the grocery shop where now their own cheese shop and home stands.
Very quickly the idea of taking their future into their own hands and of managing a project together gathered momentum. For Sara, who grew up surrounded by her parents’ herds, this seemed more than obvious and a very easy challenge. For Pierre, he needed quickly to get accustomed to the business. The fortunate event of the arrival of their first child coincided with the couple settling down. On the eve of giving birth to her daughter, Sara was dispensing advice to the young shepherd on how to deliver their first lambs, “The beginnings were challenging” they willingly reveal. Difficult to believe, given the ease and happiness with which the couple now manage the farm under the inquisitive gaze of their little girl who follows them everywhere. Inspiration for a new vocation!
