Outspoken with a keen eye, Stéphane Rotily Forcioli is a real character who receives his guests in a direct yet affable and friendly manner, to the point where one might wonder if visitors come only for the quality of the products and the calm of the campsite, or to meet and share a moment with the owner.
In his own words: “My father already farmed this land before me, he also owned sheep, cows, pigs, and chickens. I followed in his footsteps and here, as well as the vegetable garden, it’s a bit like Noah’s ark. ”
Given the diversity of the produce (vegetables, cheeses, charcuterie) and the beauty of this peaceful estate in Rizzanesi valley, Stéphane, and Natasha his wife, decided to create a campsite and farmhouse inn in order to accommodate more visitors.
“Here, people know what they are eating, if they just take a walk around the property they will see where the products on their plate come from."
An avid and passionate worker, Stéphane doesn't rest on his laurels. For some years now he has taken to restoring the old stone houses scattered over the estate in order to diversify their current offering and be able to receive customers seeking even more comfort, but with the same expectations for friendliness and authenticity. They’ll most certainly find both!
