When Marc Prietto decided to resume activities on the 14-hectare family farm in
1995, he knew full well that the vegetable crops would be organic. Marc grew up here and watched his father and grandfather work the land so naturally throughout the seasons.

Learning to do this, however, is not easy: the techniques are difficult to develop and “it’s not something you learn at school,” quips Marc. Who cares! The young man discovered simple and original solutions whilst in contact with other passionate farmers.

Today, mainly aimed at direct sales, the Valle farm offers the end customer a wide variety of vegetables and an exclusive range resulting from his own farm-saved seed. Authentic! It must also be mentioned that Marc is well supported: his wife Laetitia has stood by his side since the beginning.

A native of Franche-Comté, this country girl has a BTS (HND) in accounting and made a fresh start in 2001 when she became employed at the farm. Her skills quickly became essential, just like her personality - both assertive and reserved.
