Casaluna is the work of Sylvie Adani, a young entrepreneur with a touching shy nature. After spending several years working in the tourism sector, at the age of thirty she decided to completely change her lifestyle.

Fabienne, her mother, owned an old shop in central Bonifacio, and this is where Sylvie decided to set up her workshop. “Being hands-on and inventive was part of my daily life with my daughter Maïlys! We would make soaps and candles together,” says the young woman. I eventually set my sights on making candles, to let as many people as possible enjoy them!”

In 2017, she opts to make them in the heart of nature and focuses on trading at markets and fairs. Sylvie only uses natural fragrances from the famous town of Grasse and that are not tested from animals. The wax is also selected very carefully: from island beeswax and also soy wax to be vegan-friendly! All of her creations are presented in recycled artisan containers. Because, in Sylvie’s eyes, consistency is vital!
