We all have a role to play on this planet and every one of us can do this, in their own way.” This is Natascha Augé’s philosophy. With a serene smile, Natascha welcomes you into her world, where time seems to stand still and you feel an overwhelming desire to dash around the fields!

Before coming to Corsica and establishing Domaine Nepali, Natascha, a yoga teacher, and her husband Raphäel, lived in the Piedmont region of Italy for seven years. In 2004 Natascha, then a young mother, succumbed to the insistent call of the sea. She had spent 15 years living on different Pacific islands and therefore loved the ocean. It was the Mediterranean, however, that captivated her.

On 11 November 2011, the whole family arrived on the Corsican coast with the aim of reviving long untouched land. Natascha quickly took to growing and processing saffron.  Her second harvest was three times bigger than its predecessor and she fully intends to continue living the dream!  “There is always a main objective driving us forwards, such as A Festa di u Sole e di a Luna or the next educational farm, and this is our responsibility towards future generations.”

From the look of her two golden-haired children, the future already looks bright!
