Heir to a vineyard in a region blessed by the good Lord: this could be the plot line of a good novel, instead it happens to be the happy story experienced by Pierre-Marie Novella during his youth in the village of Oletta.

This sincere and highly motivated man has broken new ground and produces wines with the same passion as if it were his very first vintage.

And yet what a long way he’s come! When he took over the family estate, he worked feverishly: Pierre-Marie perpetuated traditional methods in opting for manual harvests and a pesticide-free vineyard out of respect for the land and Mother Nature; he has planted more vines making up the Patrimonio certified appellation (namely Niellucciu, Vermentinu and Muscat à petits grains) on this clay-limestone parcel. In 1978, he took over the vinification process and modernised winery installations by building a maturation / aging cellar.

Today, the estate's range of wines fully expresses the craft of this master winemaker's bond with his native soil: featuring deep red, pinkish or crystal clear yellow hues, the whole selection offers distinct personality and outstanding quality; his white and Muscat won gold medals at the General Agricultural Fair.

"Our best ambassadors are our customers and they are more than welcome to call in all year round!" Pierre-Marie's tasting cellar is set up beneath the family home, located upon arriving in the village when heading down to Saint-Florent. During harvest time, make sure you ndrop in early!
