The desire to give and share – qualities of the heart belonging to her father, a great figure recognised and respected throughout the Corsican winemaking world – are without doubt the most precious gifts ever bestowed on Lina Ventura-Pieretti in her life. But it was during the course of the summer of 1989, when Corsica was being ravaged by fire, that she found herself totally unexpectedly at the head of the family's estate.

Determined and brave, Lina managed, through work and self-discipline, to restructure the company and become one of Corsica’s best winemakers.

A dynamic entrepreneur, she participates in the administration of the UVA Corse, A Fiera di u Vinu associations and continually promotes the island’s wines. Bordered by scrubland, her vineyards, situated on the eastern side of Cap Corse stretch languidly to the sea. This exceptional schist terroir adds finesse and minerality to the white wines, and to the muscatel wine in particular.

The Pieretti estate currently produces 50,000 bottles per year.

Its wines – whites, rosés, reds and muscatel wines – regularly win prizes in various international competitions: The Concours Général Agricole, Vinalies, etc. The estate’s muscatel wine, white and rosé wines, and, in particular its "marine" vintages, as well the elaborate reds produced from the time-honoured "Alicante" grape variety not too dissimilar from the Grenache Noir, all are recognised and appreciated both on the island and in the mainland’s best restaurants.

Situated in the northern part of the Santa Severa village, the Pieretti cellar warmly invites you to come and savour the estate's different vintages.
