It can be difficult to escape one’s destiny... But for Bernard Renucci, his destiny is hardly a burden! The Domaine Renucci, a family vineyard, has existed on the Reginu plain since 1880! Bernard’s great uncles were in charge of two hectares that were primarily used for their own domestic needs. This is the same land that their descendent has been working since 1991. Since then, the winemaker has continuously made progress with this land, and every year he tries to plant three new hectares. Today, the property consists of twenty hectares!

"Wine growing was a tradition – and in fact quite a common one in Corsica. The same with olive growing. There were also olive treeson this land, but I prioritised working the vines out of passion”, explains the winemaker.

A culture geared towards simplicity with techniques from sustainable farming. "In this job”, concludes Bernard, "the diversity of the tasks is what’s rewarding,  in the fields and sometimes in areas that are less obvious for me: communication, for example! But today it's important to be able to showcase the quality of your produce. It’s all part of the job”. Quite a challenge for our, humble unobtrusive Feliceto winemaker!
