A veritable temple of delights, the Domaine Orsini looks out over the Calenzana plains. Passing through its imposing gates, the visitor gets a view of Tony Orsini's vast and impressive property. The master of the house has been at the helm here for 50 years and is the sixth generation. Under his watch, the 68-hectare vineyard is being restructured to accommodate an agricultural system that will allow everything to be produced on site.  It's a bold strategy that has become Tony's personal battle. And yet for all this, he has not forgotten his roots.

"First and foremost I'm a man of the country, proud of his lands and aware of their potential," he says firmly. His vineyard brings forth a multitude of flavours: over 850 tasting references are on offer to the wine lovers who visit, as well as a tasting hall capable of hosting up to 750 people.

In order to create this "Cathedral of Modern Indulgence", Tony rolled up his sleeves and developed an economic strategy built on the quality of what he was able to produce. He has an iron will, and a work ethic to match. Tony knows Rome wasn't built in a day, but the half century of work undertaken by this man and his team is proof that acting and building towards your ideals is very much possible -
