Daniel Canarelli speaks in a deep and calm voice. Behind this wisdom which he has acquired over the years is a demanding and committed character. Born into a family of breeders, Daniel turned his hand to viticulture at the end of the 2000s. The first five hectares were planted for a cooperative winery. The Costa Rossa cuvée was soon born.
“I started out with the firm intention of producing a high-quality wine,” the winegrower explains. “To achieve this, it was crucial to use, for example, top of the range wooden barrels. This care gives the wine all of its elegance. I could see this for myself!”
Daniel only considered making this career change in the heart of his native village, Tarrabucetta. “We need to live in villages and make our rural communities real places of life,” he says happily, with conviction.
He has a project in the pipeline to create a recreational area within the family winery at the same time as his new point of sale. Because, for Daniel Canarelli, wine is all about sharing.
