In 2015 Domaine Paradella, located in the plains of the Nebbiu, was born. From that moment onwards, Lionel Wojcik, who hails from the village of Sermanu in the Boziu region, began to work diligently on restructuring his property with the sole objective of excellence. His years of training in Bordeaux have given this young 30-year-old man exceptional expertise and skill in modern techniques with respect to the terroir and the vintage.
“In my view, it is crucial to combine applied work within the vineyards with processes which allow the vinification phase to be perfectly controlled up until the final product, such as the thermo-regulation of vats, climate control of the storage cellar or even fogging.” However, Lionel does not reject tradition.
“For optimum maturation, wine and wood are a perfect pairing. If you take on board the shrewd advice of professional winemakers, accompanied, as in my case, by an experienced vineyard manager, the result should keep all of its promises!”
The date is set for 2018: the first 2016 vintage of Domaine Paradella!
