It is in this wild and yet bucolic place that Georges Preziosi decided, over 20 years ago, to devote himself fully to beekeeping. Here, the power of the megaliths (Paddaghiu is the largest alignment of menhirs in the Mediterranean region) is matched only by the endless softness of the unspoilt coastline of the Tizzano bay.

When he decided to begin operations in Campu Tondu, Georges Preziosi had no hesitatation in leaving his business behind to begin his studies at the Sartène agricultural college. Armed with a BPA (a professional agricultural certificate), but above all driven by a strong passion for the industry, he dedicated all his energy to it and remained undeterred, even during the darker years when fires and drought damaged the fruits of his hard labour. Now, he is happy to offer the six varieties of the PDO “Miel de corse” range. Since the region’s flora is exceptional, he moves his “swarm” to the Aullène mountains in order to harvest his "miel de Chataîgneraie" (chestnut honey) and "miel de maquis d’été” (summer maquis honey). From the sweetest to the most bitter, delicate or persistent, the fine honeys from U Campu Tondu are without parallel and their reputation goes well beyond the Sartenais region
