Franck Duprés’ story is of two encounters. Firstly, at the end of the '70s, an encounter with a territory, as he tells it:

“Initially I wanted to set up in Provence to make honey, and then I came to Corsica on holiday, and it was like a revelation. Nature was wilder, the land more unique, in other words: paradise for a beekeeper! ”.

The second encounter was a human one, but equally as critical in Franck Duprés’ professional choices, in his own words: “While doing a little exploring, I met some young beekeepers who set up around the same time as me and I felt a kind of connection between us, there was a shared positive energy and my decision was made! ” A lot of water has flowed under bridges and lots of honey into pots, but for nearly forty years now Franck and his wife have continued their work with the same passion. An apparently communicable passion, as their son is about to take over from them and continue their beautiful beekeeping adventure.
