If an encounter with the agricultural world may seem fortuitous for some farmers, for others it carries the weight and evidence of family tradition that seems everlasting and inalterable. It is therefore quite natural that Nathalie and Jean-Max followed in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents, and the young Jean-Paul is also following suit. But if, in their own way, they fulfil the secret dream of every farmer to see their descendants taking over the family business, they’ve added all their enthusiasm and dynamism in order to develop and diversify the farm.
Everyone seems to have found their own place within the enterprise: Jean-Max takes care of the animals while Nathalie ensures the comfort of customers at the farmhouse inn and Jean-Paul focuses on tending to the goats and cheese-making. Winter is an opportunity for them to focus on their charcuterie. Friendly conversation is peppered once more with the transmission of knowledge, of which Jean-Max and Nathalie certainly do not want to deprive the young shepherd!
