Although Françoise Cianfarani now masterfully manages her operations and flock of sheep, it is actually with Antoine-Dominique that the couple’s agricultural journey began. ”I was a pig farmer, but a disastrous fire in the '80s killed all my animals. My wife and I put some deep thought into it and we decided to start something else from scratch: we would change the type of livestock and Françoise would be in charge, explains Antoine-Dominique simply. And one can say that Françoise rose to the challenge with vigour and determination.

Even though she knows she can count on the help of her husband, Françoise is in charge of the flock, the cheese making and the rental cottage management. And as the apple does not fall far from the tree, she is now assisted by her daughter, who participates in all tasks related to their operation, in addition to her role as a young mother! “Although this job isnt always easy, were happy she is taking over. We have the feeling that we haven't worked for nothing, the couple concludes, with a mixture of happiness and pride.
