“The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree”, so goes the old adage that perfectly applies to the young pig farmer from Zevaco, Noëllie Andreucci. Noëllie is in fact the daughter of Angeot and Nadia Andreucci, who run the U Taravu inn in the heart of the village. While some might have childhood memories of being in the park or the garden outside their home, it is a very different story for Noëllie Andreucci who grew up in the midst of the pig herd led by her father and the smell of home cooking in the inn run by her mother. It would have taken a miracle for this young woman to stray from her destiny as her youth was influenced by this extraordinary and unique environment.
“Ever since I was a little girl, I know what I would do when I was older, there was never any doubt in my mind,” the young farmer explains logically. While she completed the agricultural studies required to create her farm, we can safely assume that the bulk of her professional training had already been acquired from her parents a long time ago. Today, the seasons determine how Noëllie divides her time: picking chestnuts in the autumn, making charcuterie in the winter and helping out at the inn during the summer season. Destiny has been written for this young working girl!
