This is first the story of an encounter between a farmer with an endless passion for working his land and a tourist industry professional with experience in dealing with the public, keen to advise people on how best to explore Corsica.

“I was tired of seeing tourists just flocking to the beaches. I wanted them to discover the agricultural Corsica, the hard-working Corsica that I discovered through Laurent”, reveals Claudine. Nonetheless, this dynamic young woman convinced her husband to open up his property to the public. “The Corsican clementine has an amazing reputation, but tourists need to understand that it just doesn't grow on its own and that people work hard every day to create quality produce”, continues Claudine.

So for several years, Claudine and Laurent have been receiving visitors, creating an awareness about citrus fruit-growing in Corsica. “People are very interested and ask a lot of very specific questions sometimes. Recently, we had some Austrian students eager to learn and find out more. It was just as enriching for us as it was for them!” they conclude, enthusiastically.
