After a number of years of trading and reaching the conclusion that “Made in China” products were becoming unbearable, Aurore Vaillant decided to turn a corner! “I have been very practical since I was a little girl, and fascinated by wood”, recounted the mum-to-be, “I have been mesmerised by its grains, its smell and its density.
 I had to give into it completely!”. Her favourite deep down is the olive tree, due to its symbolism (the tree of life) and its natural aesthetic qualities, making each item unique.
This uniqueness is particularly important to Aurora. “Everything is made traditionally and is meticulously crafted by hand”, she continued, “Teachings from woodworkers and former wood-working professionals have enabled me to acquire expertise”.
She brings this expertise into the present day with new technology and digital engraving.
She ambitiously aspires to start making furniture, in partnership with artisans from Monticello. After renovating what was once a cellar into a workshop in 2016, Aurore now welcomes you to Attellu AV, a cocoon which reflects her personality: radiant and spontaneous!
